I am an assistant professor of Information Systems (IS) at College of Computing & Digital Media, at DePaul University, Chicago. I have a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering, an M.Sc. in Information Technology Engineering, and a Ph.D. in Business Administration with concentration on Information Systems from DeGroote school of Business, McMaster University.
My research is at the intersection of social and technological systems and particularly addresses the behavioral and managerial implications of information systems, including the positive and negative impacts of using information systems, electronic word of mouth, and online communities. I am also interested in meta-analytical methods and techniques for empirical synthesis of knowledge from prior research findings. My research outputs have appeared in various journals and conferences in Information Systems, such as Journal of Management Information Systems, Journal of Strategic Information Systems, Information & Management, Computers & Education, Expert Systems with Applications, and European Financial Review. I have also held several editorial positions in journals and conferences in Information Systems.
My teaching interests are in the areas of business analytics, business process management, enterprise systems, and Systems Analysis & Design.
